Overgaard. My family and I are the owners of Columbia River
Natural Pet Foods Inc. I have been fortunate to be involved in
dogs for most of my life. Breeding, showing and competing in all
aspects of dog sports. Our kennel name is Pepperhaus Rottweilers.
I began feeding all raw foods after
a major injury to one of our dogs. I wanted to give this boy the
best possible chances for recovery. I began to study all the
possible benefits raw foods claimed to provide. It made sense to
me that the best way to feed my dog was the way nature intended.
To make a long story short, this boy thrived! Not only was his
recovery amazing, I was shocked at how his overall health improved.
I thought I already had a well muscled, healthy dog, but on raw foods he
was even better! I took the rest of our dogs off kibble, and
began feeding only raw meat, bone mince and veggies.
The results were amazing! We
seldom visit the vet. Everyone has beautiful shiny coats, clean
teeth, healthy skin, lots of energy and wonderful muscling. When
we have bred our girls they have had larger litters, with very strong
pups.
People started to notice the
difference in our dogs, and asked what we were feeding. Many
people waned to try feeding raw foods, but were afraid their dogs would
choke on the whole raw meaty bones. Expense of the ground raw
food diets already on the market was another problem, especially for those of
us feeding large dogs. Variety was another issue. Dogs with
specific problems sometimes will do better on one meat over another.
And all dogs benefit from a variety of meats and vegetables. I
began to grind the meaty bones for my puppy buyers and obedience
student's dogs. They all noticed such improvements in their dogs'
health that they told their friends, and their friends told their
friends, and Columbia River Natural Pet Foods Inc. was born.
We use the only the finest quality
USDA inspected meats. All our varieties are 100% antibiotic,
hormone free and taste tested by our own dogs!
